Key Points

  • Seahaven have released a new single, “Long Goodbye,” ahead of their ‘Winter Forever 15th Anniversary Tour.’
  • The band will perform their 2011 debut album ‘Winter Forever’ live in full for the first time in early 2026.
  • The ‘Winter Forever 15th Anniversary Tour’ runs across North America in January and February 2026 before continuing with a UK leg in April.

Fifteen years after breaking through the emo and indie rock scene, Seahaven are stepping back into the spotlight with new music and a long-awaited tour.

The California band has announced the release of a brand-new single, “Long Goodbye,” just ahead of their Winter Forever 15th Anniversary Tour, which will see them perform their debut album in full.

The band shared the news directly with fans on Instagram, keeping the message simple and clear: “New Single ‘Long Goodbye’ Out Now!”

The announcement quickly caught attention, especially among longtime listeners who have followed Seahaven since the early 2010s emo revival.

The release of “Long Goodbye” marks Seahaven’s first new music tied to the anniversary era and arrives as the band prepares to return to the stage in early 2026. Seahaven formed in 2009 in Torrance, California, and built a loyal following with their debut album Winter Forever, released in November 2011 through Run For Cover Records.

Songs like “Black & White,” “Save Me,” and “PV” helped define the band’s sound and made Winter Forever a touchstone record for fans who connected deeply with its themes of loss and reflection.

Now, 15 years later, the band is honoring that legacy with the Winter Forever 15th Anniversary Tour, performing the album live from start to finish for the first time. Alongside the tour news, “Long Goodbye” arrives as a bridge between past and present, capturing the emotional weight Seahaven are known for while signaling a new chapter.

“This record is held in a very special place for us,” the band said in a statement, according to Noise11. “We’re excited to celebrate this anniversary with everyone that has come to enjoy it over the years.”

Seahaven’s lineup remains steady, with Kyle Soto on vocals and guitar, Cody Christian on guitar, Mike DeBartolo on bass, piano, and vocals and Eric Findlay on drums. Over the years, the band has released three studio albums and two EPs, each showing a willingness to evolve without losing their emotional core.

After Winter Forever, Seahaven explored more minimal and atmospheric sounds on 2014’s Reverie Lagoon: Music for Escapism Only. Following a six-year break, they returned in 2020 with Halo of Hurt, an album that reflected maturity and self-examination. The upcoming tour includes North American dates throughout January and February 2026, with several shows already sold out and others marked with low ticket warnings. The run will also extend to the United Kingdom in April, giving international fans a chance to be part of the milestone. On select dates, Commoner and Flycatcher will join as support acts, and exclusive vinyl variants of Winter Forever will be available at shows.
