Fans of the Wizarding World can step into a magical woodland this holiday season as “Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience” brings its outdoor trail to Chicago and Cincinnati after selling out its New York run.
The event immerses visitors in a nighttime forest filled with illuminated scenes, interactive spell-casting moments and creatures from the “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” films, including Hippogriffs, unicorns and Nifflers. Guests may also cast spells, attempt to conjure a Patronus and purchase Wizarding World–inspired food and drink.
The experience has attracted more than 2 million visitors across 14 cities worldwide and continues to draw fans of all ages.
Tickets for “Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience” can be purchased through the official ticket partner, Fever.

Chicago
The Chicago installation is located at YMCA Camp Duncan in Ingleside and opened Oct. 3, operating Wednesday through Sunday evenings.
Standard adult tickets start at $47 and are reduced to $31.49 each under the 3-for-2 offer. Child admission starts at $32, with family, group and deluxe packages also available.
Cincinnati
Cincinnati’s version is held at Cub World in Miami Township and opened Oct. 24, operating Wednesday through Sunday evenings.
Standard adult tickets start at $60 and are reduced to $40 each with the 3-for-2 offer. Child admission starts at $35, with family, group and deluxe packages also available.
