The staff at Queen Elizabeth II’s beloved Sandringham House once had to clean up a major mess made by her son Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, according to a new book.
In 2000 Andrew, 65, threw a 39th birthday party for Ghislaine Maxwell, which was also attended by Jeffrey Epstein, Robert Jobson writes in The Windsor Legacy, per the Daily Mail.
Afterwards, cleaners found “sex-enhancing” poppers, condoms and lubricant in bathrooms on the estate, Jobson claims in the book.
Andrew had previously described the event as a “straightforward shooting weekend” in his disastrous 2019 interview with journalist Emily Maitlis on BBC’s Newsnight.

Andrew was stripped of his royal titles on Thursday, October 30 amid continued fallout over his relationship with convicted sex trafficker Maxwell and late convicted pedophile Epstein as well as a posthumously released memoir by sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre, who claims he had sex with her when she was a minor. (Andrew has denied any wrongdoing and has consistently maintained his innocence.)
King Charles III also ordered his brother to leave the Royal Lodge in Windsor, England.
His new home? Sandringham, according to a reports by multiple outlets. The remote property in Norfolk, England, is traditionally where the royal family gathers for Christmas every year. Crucially, it was purchased by Queen Victoria in 1862 and is privately owned by Charles.
