Andrew and Harry have long been the subject of comparisons from royal commentators, after both stepped down as senior working royals in the last few years, despite having vastly different reasons for doing so. Harry quit royal life for a new one in the US alongside his wife, Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Meanwhile, Andrew stepped down after mounting pressure due to public furore following his disastrous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview regarding his relationship with convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
And it was that relationship which led to his ultimate fall from grace after the latest tranche of Epstein files were released from the US Department of Justice last month. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing.
Now sources close to the Duke of Sussex have claimed that he allegedly feels it’s unfair how he lost his security and housing, while Andrew was “protected for years”.
They told People Magazine: “He was frustrated by the comparisons. It was never fair to lump them together. Harry served his country, did the job well, and never engaged in misconduct — yet lost security and housing, while Andrew was protected for years.”

The source went on to describe Andrew’s arrest as “embarrassing” for the whole Firm, adding that its stain will be hard to wipe off.
They said: “In this moment, it’s sad and embarrassing for the entire family,” the insider says. “It leaves a stain on everybody.”
On Thursday, shortly after Andrew’s arrest released a statement in which he said the police “have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.”
Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing and has not directly responded to the latest allegations.
