Prince Harry‘s time in Australia brought up tough emotions about leaving The Firm.
According to expert Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, the Duke of Sussex misses his platform within the monarchy as he and Meghan Markle continue carrying out unofficial tours.
“I think it’s quite clear that Prince Harry has many regrets about the life choices that have ended up with him being estranged from his homeland and from his family and from the role he most enjoyed: being a royal prince,” the commentator told The People’s Channel via GB News.

“I think that’s why you’re seeing him essentially trying to play the role of a prince in exile, with these pseudo-royal tours, as we’ve seen in Australia and Ukraine,” Heydel-Mankoo said.
“He realizes that the fulfillment he got from those hasn’t been matched by anything he’s done in America. And I think he’s also realized, and they’ve both realized, that their prominence, their status, depends on their proximity to the royal family,” the reporter added.
Harry and his wife left England in 2020 for life in California. Despite trying many different ventures, the two have struggled to find their footing.
“The more removed they are from the royal world and royal engagements, the less people are interested in them as people,” Heydel-Mankoo claimed.

The Spare author reportedly wants to make amends with King Charles III and Prince William.
“There’s a world of difference between what Harry hopes will happen and what has any chance of happening,” Heydel-Mankoo said.
“It’s inconceivable that either the King or the Prince of Wales would ever open a door to Harry to return to the royal fold,” he added.

While Harry might want a family reunion, he and Meghan’s trips around the globe aren’t going over well with The Firm.
“The Palace is livid,” a source told Rob Shuter for his Naughty But Nice Substack. “It looks like a full-scale royal tour without the permission slip.”
