Despite the weather, the joint appearance seemed to be a great success with both Kate and William joining school children who were using the space as an outdoor classroom, but also laughing along as they raced to make sure everyone had umbrella cover when the rain picked up. Their return to official duties comes just one day after sending their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, back to the classroom for another year at Lambrook School.
