Princess Anne has sparked major fan frenzy after stepping out in a bright purple coat in Scotland yesterday. The much-loved royal, who is currently in Edinburgh, visited the 20th Anniversary Photographic Exhibition of the Scotland Malawi Partnership at Edinburgh City Chambers on Tuesday.
Anne’s visit comes as the Prince and Princess of Wales also stepped out in Scotland on Tuesday. King Charles, who had been staying in Scotland, travelled back to London yesterday to resume his cancer treatment.
After spotting Anne’s latest addition to her wardrobe, fans were surprised by the colour and said she looked amazing in it. The designer of her striking coat – which has been nicknamed her “Quality Street” coat – remains unknown.
Taking to X, one fan commented: “Love her in that colour [red exclamation marks emoji].
Another said, “Yes, that colour is very becoming to her. She looks very attractive with that outfit.”
Commenting on an Instagram post, a third added: “Sensational looking outfit!”
As his family travelled around and from Scotland, Prince Harry made his second appearance at the Royal Courts of Justice in Central London.
The case against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) began in court on Monday, with Harry among seven high-profile figures, accusing the Daily Mail publisher of “abhorrent criminal activity”.
Harry also appeared in court on Monday, January 19.
