The video showed Prince William and Princess Catherine’s only daughter cuddling the family dogs, enjoying a boat ride, writing in the sand and bowling a cricket ball. Charlotte was all smiles throughout the video.
Judi said: “Charlotte has been born into royal life, but this video shows that her sense of freedom and her options and choices are potentially limitless.
“She’s not being shoe-horned into formal clothing or behaviour.
“In these clips Charlotte seems to be shown enjoying much the same childhood as her mother: fun, sporty and in the hub of a loving family.
“There’s no sense from her relaxed and confident-looking body language and smile that she’s being asked to perform awkwardly for the camera here, but there are signs of a girl with leadership potential who knows her own mind and who is being given the freedom to express that.”
It is believed at home, the children have a fairly ordinary routine of going to school, taking part in sports and even doing chores to help around the house.
This desire to give Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as ordinary a childhood as possible reportedly stems from the one Princess Catherine had with her Middleton family.
