An enraged Elvis Presley was so jealous of then-wife Priscilla’s karate instructor Mike Stone, he wanted to hire a hitman to knock him off, the Naked Gun star reveals in a new memoir.
Ironically, she began taking karate lessons to impress the King after learning about his many infidelities.
Eventually Priscilla decided to leave Elvis, and her “close friendship” with Mike “turned into an affair,” she writes in Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis.

But according to Priscilla, “Elvis found the thought of me with another man unbearable …. He told the [Memphis Mafia] guys that Mike had to die. He even asked [road manager] Joe [Esposito] to find a hitman.”

“Elvis gradually calmed down and gave up the idea of killing Mike,” she adds.
