The International Film Festival Glasgow has announced its full programme for 2025.
Now in its 12th year, the festival will run from November 12 to 16 at venues across the city, including the Grosvenor Picture Theatre and the Social Hub.
It will open with a special screening of Richard Linklater’s Blue Moon and close with the Scottish premiere of Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value.

The festival will also feature a screening of the Scottish documentary The Skids ReVolution, which explores Glasgow’s punk scene, followed by a performance from local artists at the Grosvenor bar.
This year’s short film competition will be judged by Greek actress Tonia Sotiropoulou, producer Marianna Palka and filmmaker Alice Shone.
Meanwhile, the festival’s education programme will include workshops from VFX specialist Calum MacDonald and a masterclass from Scottish footballer Zander Murray.
The festival aims to showcase local talent and provide a platform for under-represented voices in independent cinema through its First Feature, Perspectives and Balkan Focus competitions.

Reel Tasty: Food and Film Experience returns for a fourth season, allowing audiences to enjoy a tasting menu designed to complement the on-screen experience.
This year, the focus is on Mexico, with a menu curated by Glasgow favourite El Jefe’s.
It also includes a welcome drink from MOTH, a beer or Michelada from NOAM and a nightcap provided by GlenAllachie Distillery.
