Most of this was approved by King Charles after public pressure, which rightly came after Andrew found himself caught up in yet more scandals following his previous friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. This is despite Andrew, 65, denying all the accusations against him.
While it was not previously really known what Queen Camilla has made of the whole situation, it has now been revealed that she agrees with her husband, and wanted a firmer stance to be taken against Andrew.
This means she likely agreed with Charles and William about the actions taken against Andrew, including stripping his royal titles and evicting him from Royal Lodge in Windsor, the 30-room mansion he has called home for over two decades.
The harsh approach taken by the King, Camilla and William has reportedly caused some “family angst”.
The Royal Family have all stayed quiet on the matter over recent months and have not mentioned Andrew in public.
This was despite the fact William, 43, was heckled by someone in Scotland over his uncle the other day, with The Prince of Wales ignoring the heckler who asked him: “How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein? Have you been covering up for Andrew?”
This is a similar question to one the King was asked just months ago during a public walkabout, with the monarch – like William – also ignoring the heckler.
