Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Quinton Jackson, is no stranger to movies.
Some good, some … not so much.
“Rampage” has returned to the action genre for “The Caretaker,” also starring Daniel Baldwin and Robert Bronzi. Jackson plays “Hudson,” a former convict (turned pastor) who helps “The Caretaker” (Bronzi) from Draco (Baldwin), a “ruthless crime boss.”
It’s basically an excuse for everyone to run around and shoot guns while regurgitating goofy dialogue.

Jackson, 47, has not competed since falling to Fedor Emelianenko under the Bellator MMA banner back in late 2019. “Rampage” is currently one of the hosts of the popular JAXXON podcast alongside Bear Degidio, TJ Dillashaw, and Luke Rockhold.
“Visually, I wanted the film to feel lonely but beautiful,” director Fady Jeanbart said (via ComingSoon.net). “The ghost town represents the Caretaker’s mind: empty, quiet, filled with memories. Every frame, every silence, every bit of violence has meaning. For me, this movie isn’t just action; it’s about grief, redemption, and connection.”
“The Caretaker and Gina are two people from completely different worlds, but they share the same pain,” Jeanbart explained. “When they meet, they both start to heal without even realizing it. I love stories where broken people somehow fix each other, not through words, but through what they go through together.”
“The Caretaker” comes to digital streaming on Nov. 4.
