AUSTIN, Texas — This weekend, a constellation of Texas musical talent will shine brightly at “Band Together Texas,” a benefit concert aimed at supporting flood relief efforts in the Texas Hill Country. The event promises an unforgettable evening of music and community spirit, featuring performances from a stellar lineup, including the Randy Rogers Band.
Randy Rogers, a native of the Texas Hill Country, expressed his passion for the event. “We’re stronger together and that’s kind of how this whole thing unfolded,” Rogers said.
Rogers also shared highlights from his latest musical endeavors. His new single, “Is This Thing Workin’,” featuring Parker McCollum, is out now and fans can look forward to more music from Rogers when he releases an EP this October.
As for the benefit concert, Rogers hopes attendees leave with a sense of unity and purpose. “I think music is healing.” he said. “Music for me, in my life, has saved me a million times,” Rogers said, adding he hopes people leave feeling “joy, some peace and maybe some comfort. Songs are really good for all of that.”
