Mukesh Khanna praises Ranveer Singh’s performance in ‘Dhurandhar’ for THIS reason
Mukesh Khanna recently lauded Ranveer Singh for his convincing performance in the newly released film Dhurandhar.
The 67-year-old actor, known for his versatile performances in the industry, praised Singh despite previously questioning his suitability for the role of Shaktimaan.
In a recent YouTube video, Khanna said, “I would like to praise this film’s hero Ranveer Singh. Now you will cross question me by saying that you have disapproved him for the role of Shaktimaan. However, even if I have denied him, he remains one of the best actors. I have always maintained this stance. His infectious energy and courage are visible in the film.”
The veteran star also added that the Padmaavat actor’s “brooding” eyes complemented his role in the action-crime film.
This comes after Khanna reflected further on the Bajirao Mastani star’s portrayal.
Earlier, he had said, “If you make him Shaktimaan, people may enjoy it because he makes you dance, but the role need someone mature enough.”
Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar’s directorial continues its steady run at the box office and is expected to earn more than ₹700 crore.
Dhurandhar, which also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and others, was released on Friday, December 5.
