LAWRENCE TWP. − Neon Nights will be all country music in 2026.
Unlike recent summers, which showcased a mix of country and classic rock, the event will be pure country, featuring Rascal Flatts, Billy Currington, Joe Nichols, Craig Morgan, Darryl Worley, Neal McCoy, Shenandoah and Terri Clark.
The two-day music festival is Aug. 14 and 15 at Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park near Canal Fulton. The annual event — a companion to the popular Country Fest at the site — attracts thousands of concertgoers.
Based on reaction via social media, fans love the 2026 lineup.
Following the Dec. 2 announcement, reactions included: “This lineup is better than Country Fest!!!” Another commenter was equally pumped: “What. A. Line. Up. Hell Ya!” Fans also liked the country bent, with one opining: “All country again for 2 days. Yay!!!!”
Aaron Green, who co-founded both The Country Fest and Neon Nights with business partner Joel Beichler, explained why Neon Nights is sticking to one genre.
“The live music scene is ever-changing,” he said in a text message. “A lot of consumer feedback was to go back to an all-country lineup. We really look for the best routing and try to build the strongest show possible for our fans.”
Billy Currington and Rascal Flatts have hit songs
Currington will bring the hits, including “People Are Crazy,” which has compiled 263 million views on YouTube and “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer,” which has tallied 78 million views on the same platform. His other popular songs include “Good Directions,” “Must Be Doin’ Something Right” and “Don’t.”
Earlier this year, Currington released the album “King of the World.”
Rascal Flatts, meanwhile, also has a history of chart success, including “What Hurts the Most” in 2006 and a popular cover of Tom Cochrane’s “Life is a Highway.” Its catalog also includes “Bless the Broken Road” and “Fast Cars and Freedom.”
This year’s Neon Nights featured Foreigner, Bret Michaels, Night Ranger, Brooks & Dunn and Sara Evans. Neon Nights also blended rock and country in 2024, with ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd, along with Worley, Pam Tillis, Trace Adkins and Brad Paisley.
When do tickets go on sale for Neon Nights?
The 2026 lineup features Rascal Flatts at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 14 and Currington at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 15. Also performing Aug. 14 will be Worley, Shenandoah and Nichols, who performed at a previous Country Fest at Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park. Worley performed at Neon Nights in 2024.
Also taking the stage Aug. 15 will be McCoy, Clark and Morgan.
Tickets for Neon Nights go on sale at 9 a.m. Dec. 5.

When is Country Fest?
