The Danish industrial groove metal outfit will release the record on August 14th through Mighty Music. The release sees producer Jacob Hansen once again working with the group.
Prisoner was several years in the making, with the initial recording sessions taking place roughly seven years ago.
Keys/vocalist Jeppe Christensen shared the following:
This album took the time it needed. We had no deadline. No label breathing down our necks. We just wrote until the songs felt right and threw out everything that didn’t. I think you can hear that – there’s no filler on this one.
Drummer Morten “Molle” Toft Hansen added:
We’re not chasing anything. We made the record we wanted to make. If people show up, that’s the gift. And if they don’t, we’ll still have an album we’re proud of.
