READING, Pa. – The training camp for the Reading Royals 2025-26 season has started as the franchise will begin their first season under new head coach Anthony Peters.
Fans will be able to watch a pair of public practice sessions on Tuesday and Thursday at Santander Arena.
“He wants us to have fun,” Royals forward Yvan Mongo said about Peters. “To execute, to do things at a high level and he wants us to set a standard for ourselves.”
The open practices will be one of the few times to catch Reading at home during the month of October. Other than a preseason contest against the Adirondack Thunder on October 10, the Royals will open the regular season with seven road games.
Reading will welcome Trois-Rivières on Saturday, November 8 in the home opener.
