The real reason why Prince Harry wasn’t allowed to stay at a royal residence during his trip to Britain has been revealed.
On Tuesday, an insider spilled to Naughty But Nice that King Charles III’s “biggest concern wasn’t logistics—it was his staff,” as many of them no longer wanted the Duke of Sussex under the Palace roof.
“Many employees feel deeply hurt by what Harry has said about the Royal Family,” the source said. “They’re fiercely loyal to the institution, and the King didn’t want to force them into welcoming someone they believe betrayed it.”
The insider further claimed that the Royal Household is already facing difficulties recruiting and retaining experienced employees, making staff morale a priority.
“The King wasn’t just thinking about Harry,” insisted another souce. “He was thinking about the people who keep the monarchy running every day.”
“The last thing he wanted was staff refusing to help — or worse, deciding to leave,” the confidant added.
For those unversed, Prince Harry visited the UK last week to promote the Invictus Games, which is set to take place in Birmingham next year.
The Duke of Sussex was later joined by his wife Meghan Markle, and their kids -Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The family had a private meeting with King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on Friday, July 10.
