SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals FC are seeking community input ahead of the 2026 season to improve the fan experience.
Miller Sports + Entertainment took control of the franchises in April 2025, and they believe the fan voice is essential to building long-term winners.
“We are firmly committed to building an exceptional fan experience. The feedback gathered through this survey will directly inform decisions we make for both Real Salt Lake and the Utah Royals FC, while continuing to value the legacy built for both clubs,” MS+E Senior Director of Operations Jenny Teemsma said.

After conducting a similar survey in the fall of 2025 focused on America First Field, MS+E is redirecting its attention to improving the overall fan experience, inside and outside the stadium.
Could Miller Sports + Entertainment consider a name change for RSL or Utah Royals FC?
The survey contains the usual assortment of questions. “How often do you attend games? Where does Real Salt Lake rank among professional teams in Utah?” Etc…
But also includes some potentially intriguing questions about the long-term identity of both franchises.
Of course, the Utah Jazz have swapped color schemes several times since taking on the purple mountain-themed jerseys for the 1996-97 season. Going from purple to blue, to neon yellow, and back to purple, all while incorporating nearly every color palette in between.
Several questions indicate MS+E may consider a total rebrand, including a name change.
