Although their absence was not noted, it is likely due to the fact that George, Charlotte and Louis all returned to school today after their Easter break. All three of Prince William and Princess Catherine’s children are currently students at Lambrook School, which is located a short distance from their home, Forest Lodge.
Although his younger siblings are set to continue their studies at the prestigious school in September, George will be leaving this summer – just weeks after his 13th birthday on July 22.
The school’s website states that the summer term begins today, April 22, meaning that the royal trio could have been resting at home yesterday before their busy first day back at school.
The children are now set to be at school for the summer term until Friday, July 4.
George, Charlotte and Louis were present for the annual Easter Sunday service earlier this month – much to the delight of royal fans.
During celebrations in Marble Hall at Buckingham Palace yesterday, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie could be seen alongside Prince William and Princess Catherine, with the four of them discussing the day’s events and enjoying a cocktail in memory of the late Queen.
The event is said to have seen around 190 guests in attendance.
Prior to the reception at Buckingham Palace, the King and Queen, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester headed to the British Museum to see the final models of the national memorial to Elizabeth II.
