Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Kris Jenner’s birthday post drama is heating up.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the momager‘s lavish, James Bond-themed 70th birthday party on November 8 with numerous other celebrities, but the photos featuring them have disappeared.
On November 9, fans noticed that the 44-year-old and 41-year-old former royals had been removed from a carousel of photos posted to Jenner and Kim Kardashian‘s Instagrams.
PEOPLE first understood that the photos were deleted because the couple had checked “no” on a photo consent form.
However, a source close to the event has told the outlet that isn’t the case, as they said, “There were no consent forms.”
Meghan and Harry were among a stunning guest list that attended the glamorous birthday bash, which was held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos’s Beverly Hills mansion on Saturday.
Other attendees included Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Oprah Winfrey, Vin Diesel, Adele, and Beyonce.
A source previously told PEOPLE that Meghan and Harry “arrived hand-in-hand and looked very happy” at the party.
“Meghan was glowing in a black wrap-style dress that showed off one leg. She looked very glamorous and fit the theme perfectly. Harry looked sharp in a tuxedo with a poppy for Remembrance Day,” said the source.
A poppy is the symbol used to honor armed forces members who have died across the U.K. and the Commonwealth in the line of duty for the November 11 holiday.
Kris’ social media post about the “magical event” included a photo of her posing with Meghan and Harry, while another showed Kardashian, 45, posing with Meghan, with Harry in the background.

Kris shared some additional candids and posed pictures of herself with her famous friends, including the night’s hosts, Mark Zuckerberg, Alicia Keys, Chris Rock, Tyler Perry, Ciara, Vanessa Bryant, and more.
On Reddit, fans theorized why the snaps of the former royals were deleted, with one user penning, “Can understand why Kris would take them down b/c am sure the comments were brutal.”
A second person then commented, “If KK took the photo down, it’s because she wanted to imo. She gave Meghan her five minutes and then deleted.”
Daily Express US previously reached out to Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s representatives for comment.
Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry’s appearance at Jenner’s 70th birthday party has been branded as “tacky” by an insider of the royal family.
The appearance has been dismissed by a palace insider who claims it shows how “far removed” the couple is from the royal family and their charity work and goals.
Speaking to Page Six, the palace insider said, “It’s so tacky.” They then added, “It truly shows that Harry is so far removed from the rest of the family.
“These people may be stars in America, but the pure ostentatiousness is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy.”
Another insider told the outlet that Meghan “was definitely in networking mode.” They added, “She schmoozed with a lot of power players.”
The source went on to describe Meghan as acting “cool.”
