Kansas City Royals pitcher Cole Ragans will undergo elbow surgery Wednesday, according to MLB.com’s Anne Rogers.
The extent of the injury is unclear, and doctors won’t know how long he’ll be sidelined until they perform the procedure. He’s been on the injured list since May and suffered a setback during his rehab stint earlier this month.
