As reactions continue to pour in over Wendy Osefo’s shocking arrest, Real Housewives of Potomac star Stacey Rusch revealed that she recently met with her.
Stacey shared the surprising update during the Sunday, October 26 episode of Watch What Happens Live, and she made it very clear that she’s going to stay in Wendy’s corner throughout this ordeal. Seven felony charges won’t stop this friendship.

On WWHL, Stacey navigated a handful of questions about the latest episode of Potomac. From Angel Massie’s questionable selfies to the Chris Samuels bomb that’s about to drop, Stacey handled everything Andy Cohen threw at her with a little bit of shade and a whole lot of humor. However, things got a little more serious when he asked her about Wendy.
“I saw Wendy last week, and it was emotional,” Stacey revealed. “I saw her, and we just held each other.”
Meanwhile, Wendy’s other castmates haven’t been quite as supportive. Ashley Darby cracked jokes at Wendy’s expense. Her on-screen frenemy Keiarna Stewart said she felt “disappointed” by the news, as did the Green-Eyed Bandits.
Stacey is the first person from the RHOP cast to take a strong stance alongside Wendy as the state of Maryland drags her to court over multiple counts of insurance fraud.
“I support her,” Stacey told Andy and the WWHL audience. “I’m her friend, and I can’t wait for her to tell her story.”
The story so far from Wendy is that she was illegally arrested, and she wants the case tossed out of court. She and her husband are due for their first court hearing on November 7. The way Stacey is talking, it sounds like she might be in the courtroom right there with them.
