ABC’s Dancing With the Stars concluded its 34th season on Tuesday, with five celebrities and their professional dance partners vying for the crown on week 12 of the dance competition series.
The three-hour season finale saw the remaining couples perform three dance routines: one chosen by one of the judges, an “Instant Dance Challenge” to a surprise song on live TV and a freestyle round.
It was the last chance for the contestants to impress the judges and fans who would decide the winner of the mirror ball trophy.

So, who won?
In the end, Irwin and Witney Carson were crowned champions, winning the coveted mirror ball trophy and outlasting 13 other couples for the title.
On the eve of the finale, Carson revealed in a video on TikTok that Irwin was experiencing pain in his ribs.
“Robert’s ribs have been killing him,” she said.
Irwin, the 21-year-old son of the beloved “Crocodile Hunter,” Steve Irwin, who died in 2006 at the age of 44, emerged as a fan favorite this season. His older sister, Bindi Irwin, won Season 21 of Dancing With the Stars in 2015 with her pro-dancer partner Derek Hough, who is now one of the show’s judges.
When asked what winning “DWTS” meant to him, Irwin said, “My sister said it best: Thank you for changing my life.”
