When in San Francisco, even the Jonas Brothers can’t resist the lure of a waterfront meal.
The pop trio – composed of brothers Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas – hung around the city for an extra day after performing at Chase Center last week, celebrating their successful show the night prior with a hearty Peruvian feast at La Mar Cocina Peruana on Friday, Sept. 26.
La Mar opened in 2008 and has since become a popular spot among tourists, known for its stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and fresh seafood.
“They enjoyed a nigiri tasting, our signature anticuchos, and a few of our favorite Peruvian cocktails while taking in the bay views,” Victoriano Lopez, the restaurant’s executive chef, told the Chronicle. “It was a joy to share the flavors and hospitality of La Mar with them. We’re glad they got to experience a little piece of Peru here in San Francisco.”
A photo of Lopez and the “Sucker” hitmakers, who were dressed down in jeans and sunglasses, was posted to Instagram by the restaurant shortly after their visit.

That night, the Jonas Brothers performed further north at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center, before traveling down the coast to Anaheim for a show at Honda Center on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The Disney alums are in the middle of their 20th anniversary tour, Greetings from Your Hometown, which kicked off in New Jersey on Aug. 10. The trek was previously dubbed the Living the Dream Tour, but received a new name after the group canceled stadium shows in six major U.S. cities, opting instead for smaller venues.
