ROCHESTER — The Rochester Opera House has announced upcoming shows featuring concerts and a kids musical this fall.
The season will start with the Opera House’s educational fall theater camp production of “Zombie Prom,” a campy, high-energy musical set in the 1950s at a strict high school where rules reign supreme. The show opens Friday, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. and runs through Oct. 19.On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Strafford Wind Symphony will perform Sunday, Nov. 2, The Electric Light Orchestra Experience is playing, followed by Marshall Crenshaw on Friday, Nov. 7.

The Strafford Wind Symphony is an all-volunteer group of talented and devoted musicians who perform an array of patriotic marches, film medleys, broadway classics, and more. They also provide musical education for their younger members and provide scholarships so no musician is left behind.
Next up, The Electric Light Orchestra Experience, featuring Evil Woman – The American ELO is a multimedia musical celebration and dedication to the music of ELO.
After four decades and 13 albums, Crenshaw will come to Rochester with special guest James Mastro.
