We’re down one Mormon wife, and we almost lost a second celebrity during “Halloween Night” on Dancing With the Stars. So, what will happen on “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night”?
Last week, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck wasn’t able to rise on the judges’ leaderboard, and she just didn’t have the support she needed from viewers voting at home, so she was eliminated from the competition. Parent Trap actress Elaine Hendrix also had a rough night, sustaining an injury that left her unable to perform live, which forced the judges and audience to evaluate her last completed rehearsal performance. But Hendrix, at least, was cleared to return to the show, so she’ll be among the eight celebrities still competing for the Len Goodman Mirror Ball Trophy, along with remaining Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, social media personality Alix Earle, reality star Dylan Efron, actress Danielle Fishel, wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, and comedian Andy Richter.
Special guest Flavor Flav will join the judges’ panel to score competitive dances set to music from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees like Elton John, the White Stripes, Ozzy Osbourne, and Aerosmith. Those will be followed by team dances in which show hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will participate for the first time. Ribeiro will team up with Fishel, Leavitt, Chiles, and Efron on Team Chicago, while Hough joins forces with Richter, Irwin, Earle, and Hendrix on Team Kool. Those team dances will also feature live performances by Hall of Famers Chicago and Kool and the Gang.
That’s not all, though. The episode will feature an opening number to Def Leppard‘s “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and Public Enemy’s “Fight the Power.” There will also be a Mandy Moore-choreographed tour number to OutKast‘s “Hey Ya!” And the troupe will dance to Stevie Wonder‘s “Higher Ground.” Which routines are you looking forward to the most? And who will you be voting for to stay in the competition?

Dylan Efron and pro Daniella Karagach
Performance: Karagach incorporated some of Tonioli’s own dance moves from the “I’m Still Standing” music video for their jive to the Elton John classic.
Carrie Ann’s comments: It had “all the elements,” but there were three moments where he got “stuck” on the kicks and flicks.
Derek’s comments: “When in doubt, get your abs out,” it was a “great way to start the show,” but the kicks and flicks could have used more “energy.”
Flavor Flav’s comments: “From the floor to the roof, that dance right there was the groove.”
Bruno’s comments: “You just missed a pass,” but his footwork was good.
Scores: Carrie Ann (8), Derek (9), Flavor Flav (10), Bruno (9) = 36 out of 40
