Rock legend Tom Morello took to social media Monday evening and took Donald Trump and his administration to task for what he believes is disturbing messaging.

“BREAKING: Today the Trump admin quoted the Nazi mass murder slogan, ‘One of ours, all of yours,” Morello wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself playing a guitar with an ‘(Expletive) Trump’ sign on the back. “Coined when an SS officer was killed and the Nazis murdered every male resident of the village in response. If there are any MAGA left after THIS, you have made an irrevocable choice.”

U.S Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem answered questions from behind a podium that featured the slogan on Jan. 8, a day after ICE officer Jonathan Ross shot and killed Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.

Billboard said it reached out to the White House and DHS for comment but it did not receive a response.

Morello, 61, is perhaps best known for his time playing guitar in the bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023.

He has long been outspoken against Trump and ICE.

Morello made news last May when he addressed a crowd at a show in Boston and ripped the president.

Morello performed in front of a “(Expletive) TRUMP” backdrop at that show. He welcomed the crowd to the “last big event before they throw us all in jail.”

“Bruce (Springsteen) is going after Trump because Bruce, his whole life, he’s been about truth, justice, democracy, equality,” Morello said.

“And Trump is mad at him because Bruce draws a bigger audience,” he added. “(Expletive) that guy!”

Morello then joined anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles in July.

He shared a carousel of photos to Instagram from the protests that showed him wearing a baseball batting helmet, a “Destroy American Fascism” shirt, and holding a sign that said “DEFEND L.A.”

He was surrounded by a group of people, two of whom were holding “(Expletive) ICE” signs and they are all holding a fist in the air.

“Made some friends in Boyle Heights and DTLA yesterday #DefendLA #WhatBetterPlaceThanhereWhatBetterTimeThanNow,” he wrote.

He shared a video clip from the streets in which he said, “We got the cops to turn around and head back because they saw what is coming.”

He also shared a photo from a concert where he is holding up a guitar with a sing on the back that reads “(Expletive) I.C.E.”
