Recently, reports had it that Cristiano Ronaldo is getting his own biopic very soon, with Timothée Chalamet playing the titular character and Andrew Garfield as Lionel Messi. And fans almost fell for it – except that it isn’t really true.
As per the snippet of a Letterboxd page shared by @AbhayCuts on X, this biopic was reportedly titled Ronaldo and was set for a 2028 release, directed by Michael Mann. It also listed Ana de Armas as Georgina Rodriguez, CR7’s decade-long partner, alongside Vincent Cassel.
However, while there is high speculation that the footballer might make his theatrical acting debut by 2028, fans need to know that this news of his upcoming biopic is entirely false.
