Rory Culkin has welcomed his first baby with his girlfriend, cinematographer Kate Arizmendi

Rory Culkin is a dad.
On Sunday, May 24, his girlfriend, cinematographer Kate Arizmendi, announced that she gave birth to the couple’s first baby — a girl named Havoc Moon.
In an Instagram Stories post, Kate, 38, shared a photo of the newborn sleeping in a blanket and wrote that her daughter was born on Saturday, May 23.
“Her in the womb while I’m screaming System of a Down,” Kate joked in the caption of the photo. “We’re so in love with you.”
In another post, Kate wrote a sweet caption alongside a photo of her daughter looking wide-eyed into the camera, taken while she was still wrapped in hospital blankets.
“15 mins after pushing her out and so alert and excited about life already,” the new mom wrote. “Also hello girl baby Rory.”

Rory, 36, and Kate — who is known for her work on films and TV series including Swallow, Succession and more — have been dating since 2023, TMZ reported.
Kate announced her pregnancy on Instagram in January and went back to edit the caption of her post after her daughter’s birth.
“My feed (and brain) has been consumed with such negativity and pain in the world that I thought I’d bring some light by announcing how ridiculously excited we are to be living in Havoc’s world in a few months,” she wrote alongside some photos of herself showing off her baby bump.
Other photos in the post included a shot of Rory reading a book to the baby bump, the baby’s sonogram, and a shot of Kate with her hands on her belly as she sat at a table.

“We love her. She rules us already😭,” Kate wrote, before sharing that the baby’s full name is Havoc Moon Alva Culkin.

Rory was previously married to Sarah Scrivener, whom he met in 2010 on the set of Scream 4.
The Lords of Chaos actor is the youngest sibling of the Culkin family, which includes brothers Macaulay Culkin and Kieran Culkin.
Rory’s daughter will have plenty of cousins. Macaulay, 45, has two kids with wife Brenda Song. The pair welcomed their first child, named Dakota after the Culkins’ late sister, on April 5, 2021. Less than two years later, Brenda, 38, gave birth to their second son, Carson.
Oscar winner Kieran, 43, has three children with wife Jazz Charton: a daughter named Kinsey Sioux, a son named Wilder Wolf and a third baby who arrived in the fall of 2025.
