Everyone’s favourite hardest-working royal was a vision in camouflage when she visited the King’s Royal Hussars at Salisbury Plain Training Area to meet troops and watch the regiment’s training exercises in action.
During the outing, Anne, who became Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment 50 years ago, spoke to soldiers about the four-week training programme, before watching exercises including the coordination of tanks, infantry and drones.
In true Anne style, she was the queen of cool for the outing, pairing her military uniform with a pair of stylish sunglasses.
