THREE royal visits have been scheduled for Wiltshire next month, with official engagements appearing in the royal diary.
Princess Anne will visit 21 Signal Regiment at Azimghur Barracks – also known as RAF Colerne – on Friday, September 5.
The Princess Royal – who is the King’s sister – will make the visit as part of her role as Colonel-in-Chief and the Royal Corps of Signals.
On the same day, Princess Anne is also expected to visit fabric studio and factory Fermoie Limited in Marlborough.
HRH will make the visit as part of her role as president of the UK Fashion and Textile Association.
Launched by Martin Ephson and Tom Helme in 2010, Fermoie, is a manufacturer of fine fabrics, lampshades and accessories that are all created in-house and designed by hand.
The business was previously announced as the winner of the King’s Award for Enterprise last year.
Meanwhile, Princess Anne will also officially open a new facility at Silverwood School’s Rowde Campus near Devizes on the same day.
