The pair got engaged last August after dating for just one year
A royal summer wedding is officially on the calendar as Peter Phillips – the eldest grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II – is set to marry his fiancée, Harriet Sperling, in an intimate ceremony this June.
The couple will exchange vows on June 6 at All Saints Church in the village of Kemble in Gloucestershire. The venue, known for its striking spire and active role in the local community, sits just a short distance from the Princess Royal’s Gatcombe Park estate – where Mr. Phillips currently resides.
A spokesperson for the 48-year-old confirmed that senior members of the royal family, including King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales, have already been informed of the upcoming nuptials.

While the event is being described as a “low-key” and private affair, a significant royal presence is expected in the small Cotswold village for the celebration.
Mr. Phillips and Ms. Sperling, an NHS nurse, have enjoyed a whirlwind romance after they began dating in early 2024. Their engagement was formally announced last August.
The couple has become a frequent fixture at family events over the past year.
In June, they were notably invited by the King to join the traditional carriage procession at Royal Ascot—a clear signal of Ms. Sperling’s warm reception into the royal inner circle.
The wedding marks a fresh start for Phillips, who is the son of Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips. He was previously married to Autumn Kelly for 12 years before their separation in 2020.
The former couple continues to share custody of their two daughters: 15-year-old Savannah and 14-year-old Isla.
Unlike his 2008 wedding, which took place at the historic St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, this ceremony appears to favour a more localized, quiet atmosphere.
Formal invitations have already been dispatched to both families as preparations for the June date begin in earnest.
