KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A pair of Kansas City Chiefs rookies appeared on the first injury report of the regular season.
Wide receiver Jalen Royals was a non-participant in Tuesday’s practice for the Chiefs, and defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott was a limited participant, according to Kansas City’s shared injury report on Tuesday afternoon.
Royals has missed several practices — and the Chiefs’ final preseason game — due to knee tendinitis. Norman-Lott missed the preseason finale and has been limited in practice due to an ankle injury.
The Chiefs selected Norman-Lott with the 63rd pick overall in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft out of Tennessee. Royals, a Utah State product, was picked in the fourth round at 133rd overall.

Wide receiver Hollywood Brown (ankle), linebacker Jack Cochrane (knee), cornerback Kristian Fulton (knee), right tackle Jawaan Taylor (knee), linebacker Drue Tranquill (back) and tight end Jared Wiley (knee) all were listed on the injury report as full participants.
The Chiefs will travel on Wednesday to Brazil for Friday night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
