MARCUS, IA (KTIV) – It was a night of first in Marcus as MMCRU took down Woodbury Central 42-6 in an IHSAA Class A Quarterfinal matchup.
While Marcus-Meridian Cleghorn won a state championship in 2015, and Remsen Union qualified for the postseason 7 times.
Since combining in 2016 the two schools had never made it to the UNI-Dome.
That changed with the Royals victory.
MMCRU will take on West Sioux in the semifinals. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm November 13th in Cedar Falls.
