The second snapshot was the number plate of the van, which could be read as “BKDRH8R.” One of her fans suggested this could be an acronym for “back door hater.”
In the House Tour music video teaser she plays on these themes, featuring a scene where she pointedly refuses entry through a back door, a move seen as a satirical nod to the ongoing online jokes.

In a snippet shared to Instagram on Wednesday, April 1, the former Disney Channel star turned pop sensation drives a pink van, accompanied by actresses Margaret Qualley, who’s coincidentally married to House Tour producer Jack Antonoff, and Madelyn Cline.
While their official destination is unknown, fans can deduce from the snippet that the trio are up to no good.
The three pull up to their destination, where Cline asks a very important question, “Should we go in the backdoor?”
“No,” Qualley and the Manchiled songstress immediately respond. Fans would recognize the moment as a cheeky reference to the House Tour chorus, “I just want you to come inside/ But never enter through the backdoor.”
Though she dropped the preview on April Fool’s Day, Carpenter assured fans that this is not a prank. “No joke…house tour video this Monday,” the singer wrote in the caption.
