Salim Khan admitted to hospital: Reports
Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has been hospitalized in Mumbai.
On Tuesday, February 17, the paparazzo Viral Bhayani posted a video of outside Lilavati Hospital, with the caption, “Salim Khan admitted to Lilavati Hospital.”
In the clip, the 90-year-old legendary actor’s son Salman Khan looked worried as he left the hospital.
He wore black and was surrounded by heavy security due to recent threats to celebrities by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
However, the Khan family has not made any statement about the iconic film producer’s medical condition.
Salim is known for creating the iconic “angry young man” characters in Hindi cinema, along with Javed Akhtar, often brought to life by Amitabh Bachchan. After parting ways with Javed, Salim went on to write films like Naam.
It is pertinent to note, he is married to Salma Khan, and they’re parents to four kids, Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira. Later, he tied the knot with actress Helen, and the pair adopted a daughter, Arpita.
Salman’s next film, Battle of Galwan, has been reported to miss its Eid release. According to Bollywood Hungama, “The movie is planned for April 17, but shooting is not finished yet, and the reshoots are taking more time than expected.”
