Salman Khan had a fan-favourite moment at the Red Sea International Film Festival, and the internet is loving it. The superstar shared a warm, cheerful frame with Hollywood favourite Idris Elba during the Golden Globes dinner in Jeddah, instantly sending fans into a frenzy. While soaking in the festival buzz, Salman also expressed his fondness for Saudi Arabia and cheered for Alia Bhatt, who was honoured at the event.
Celebrities from across the world are currently in Jeddah for the star-studded fifth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival. Salman, one of the key attendees this year, made his presence felt at the Golden Globes dinner where he mingled with global stars.

Speaking about being back in Saudi Arabia, Salman said, “I love it here. I like Saudi. A lot of people here like the culture. It’s nice. I keep visiting this place quite a bit nowadays, so it’s good.”
He also reacted to Alia Bhatt receiving a major honour at the festival. “Yes, Alia Bhatt, it’s amazing! I think only Saudi could’ve done this. It’s amazing. They’re going places really rapidly; it’s a good thing. I like that they bring their best and our culture together,” he added.
On the work front, Salman recently wrapped his stint as the host of Bigg Boss 19. The actor is now preparing for the release of Apoorva Lakhia’s Battle of Galwan, a dramatisation of the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley. Salman plays Colonel B Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment.
