Changing Tides has announced its return for 2025, taking place in Kiama on the south coast of New South Wales at the town’s showgrounds. Headlining the festival will be UK heartland rock singer-songwriter Sam Fender, who recently released his third studio album People Watching and had previously announced a headlining Australian tour; his Sydney date will take place the night before.

The line-up also features Noah Cyrus, who will be returning to Australia for the first time since the final Splendour In The Grass to date circa July 2023. The American pop singer, and the younger sister of Miley, recently released her second studio album I Want My Loved Ones To Go With Me. Her announcement on the Changing Tides bill is the first of what is assumed to be more Australian dates to be added in the coming weeks, as the festival have not billed her as an exclusive artist. The line-up also includes The Rubens, Skegss and Sam Fender’s national tour support act Holly Humberstone – who herself will also be playing a run of headlining shows while in the country this November.

Sam Fender – ‘Rein Me In’

Changing Tides originally ran back in 2023, with headlining performances from the likes of Spacey Jane, Peking Duk and G Flip. It returned in 2024 as one of the only music festivals – regional or otherwise – to successfully run that year. Its line-up included a returning Peking Duk closing out the festivities, as well as performances from artists such as Tones & I, Ruel, Peach PRC and Mallrat.
