SPRINGFIELD — It was some 30 years ago that Sarah Elizabeth Charles sat in the lobby of the Community Music School of Springfield with her grandmother, waiting for her lessons to begin.
In 2012, she returned to the Community Music School to perform songs from her debut album “Red.”
