MUMBAI: Satluj is making more than just waves at the box office. The cast and director of Satluj dominated this week’s IMDb Popular Indian Celebrities rankings, reflecting strong audience interest following the film’s recent release.
According to IMDb, director Honey Trehan claimed the top spot on the weekly list, while actor Diljit Dosanjh ranked third and Suvinder Vicky secured the 11th position.
The rankings also highlighted the growing popularity of Pritam and Pedro. Its lead actor Vir Hirani placed fourth, followed by Shruti Marathe in fifth position. Arshad Warsi, who also features in the film, ranked seventh, while Vikrant Massey came in at 12th.
Meanwhile, the release of Alpha propelled Sharvari to the second spot on the list. Her co-star Alia Bhatt also featured among the week’s most searched celebrities, finishing 14th.
The digital premiere of Daadi Ki Shaadi also boosted interest in its cast. Sadia Khateeb climbed to eighth place, while co-star R. Sarathkumar rounded out the rankings in 13th position.
The IMDb Popular Indian Celebrities feature, available through the IMDb app on Android and iOS, tracks the week’s most trending Indian actors, filmmakers and entertainment personalities based on user activity generated from more than 200 million monthly visits to IMDb worldwide.
The latest rankings underscore how theatrical releases and digital premieres continue to shape audience interest, with Satluj, Alpha, Pritam and Pedro and Daadi Ki Shaadi driving much of this week’s online buzz.
