Community helps celebrate the grand opening of Pooler Wawa
The New Hampstead marching band performed as hundreds came out for the celebratory grand opening of the new Wawa in Pooler.

Cirque de Paris
Cirque de Paris brings traditional big-top entertainment to the Savannah area beginning March 19, with 16 shows running through March 29. Come see the talented cast demonstrate skills like juggling, bicycle acrobatics, high-flying aerial acts and much more at Tanger Outlets. Adult general admission is $25 and child general admission is $10.

FRIDAY, MARCH 20
Million Dollar Quartet
Starting Friday, The Savannah Theatre presents the Million Dollar Quartet, which dramatizes the legendary 1956 jam session featuring Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley. Experience the highs and lows of the four legends as they experience fame until May 2. Standard adult tickets are $45 and children’s tickets are $24 plus tax.

SUNDAY, MARCH 22
Silent Film Program
A special silent film program will feature live piano accompaniment by Chenny Gan of Wesleyan College. The screening includes the classic films A Trip to the Moon, One Week and The Immigrant. A Trip to the Moon is a 14-minute 1902 French science-fiction adventure film that follows a group of astronomers who travel to the Moon in a cannon-propelled capsule, explore the Moon’s surface, escape from an underground group of Selenites, and return to Earth with a captive Selenite. One Week is a 25-minute 1920 American two-reel silent comedy film that involves a newlywed couple who receive a kit house as a wedding gift. The Immigrant is a 22-minute 1917 American silent romantic comedy short written and directed by Charlie Chaplin as an immigrant coming to the United States, who is accused of theft on the voyage and falls in love with a young woman.
