Seaglass Theater Company is set to present a cabaret music concert, “And the Beat Goes On…100 Years of Cabaret Music,” at 3 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26 at two historic Massachusetts churches.
The concert will feature a variety of music, from 1920s Berlin to present-day Hollywood, and will include songs by Kurt Weill, Lady Gaga, Benjamin Britten and Billy Joel, according to a community announcement. Attendees can enjoy appetizers, desserts and beverages while listening to the performances.
The concert will star vocalists Kaileigh Riess and Marcus Huber, along with music director and pianist Matthew Larson.
What to expect at the concert
The concert promises to be a unique and entertaining experience, with a mix of funny, sad, risqué and memorable music performed in a club setting.
“I am thrilled that we were able to get these three in-demand artists together for this cabaret-it is sure to be a unique and entertaining experience,” said Artistic Director Patrice Tiedemann.
