Sean “Diddy” Combs is now expected to be released earlier than initially thought.
The rapper, who is serving a 50‑month sentence for prostitution‑related charges, is scheduled for release on Feb. 23, 2028, according to records from the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
His initial release date was June 4, 2028, but in March it was moved up from April 25, 2028, to April 15, 2028.

Combs was sentenced in October to four years and two months in federal prison after being convicted of transporting people across state lines for sexual encounters.
He was acquitted of separate sex‑trafficking and racketeering charges that carried potential life sentences.
The 56‑year‑old remains housed at the low‑security Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was transferred there in late October from New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

Prosecutors said Combs spent years flying girlfriends and male sex workers around the country for drug‑fueled sexual encounters in multiple locations.
He was convicted under the Mann Act, a federal law that prohibits transporting people across state lines for illegal sexual activity. Defense attorney Jason Driscoll argued that the statute was misapplied in Combs’ case, the Associated Press reported.
