“I am so excited,” Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel says. “To be a part of Dancing with the Stars feels incredible.”

The Traitors winner and Zac Efron’s brother, Dylan Efron, comments, “I’ve never performed, I’ve never really been on stage before, but I’m hoping it runs in the family.”

“I am excited to represent all the moms out there,” says Jen Affleck from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. “Compared to motherhood, this is easy peasy.”

Andy Richter, the oldest contestant on the ballroom floor this season, jokes, “I’m no stranger to looking like an ass on television. And I’m owning it!”

Social media influencer Alix Earle says, “I want to come out of this not recognizing myself. I can’t believe that I’m here.”

Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, this year’s youngest contestant, says, “Crocodiles, I’ve got. Venomous snakes, no worries, but dancing, I’m terrified.”

Whitney Leavitt, also from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, says, “It feels so refreshing to know a familiar face on the cast. No, not refreshing. Competitive.”

Olympian Jordan Chiles laughingly says, “In this competition, I’m the only 10.”

“I stopped dancing 16 years ago,” says author and wellness influencer Hilaria Baldwin. “This journey is about reconnecting with something I closed a door to.”

Actor and musician Corey Feldman admits, “For me, it’s about challenging myself to be the best version of myself that I can be.”

Grammy Award-winning Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying teases, “This competition is about to get perfect pitch. Get it? Because I’m in a cappella?”

“I began my career as a dancer,” says 54-year-old film and TV actress Elaine Hendrix. “If I don’t do this now, when am I going to do it?”

“I hope to learn more about my body and how much it’s capable of,” says Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui. “There’s only one me, baby!”

NBA All-Star Baron Davis brings the video home, saying, “The only dance class I’ve ever taken was in seventh grade. I should have paid attention.”

Who will win Dancing with the Stars Season 34 (2025)?

Of course, it’s very rare to pick a DWTS winner before even seeing the celebs take their first steps on the dance floor. After all, I don’t think many people would have predicted Iman Shumpert or Joey Graziadei to take home the Mirror Ball before Week 1. That said, even just the small glimpse of watching these celebs’ moves, it would be foolish to not bet on Jordan Chiles, especially considering the success rate of gymnasts on DWTS. Other standouts include Whitney Leavitt and Lauren Jauregui. And, given her previous dance experience, Elaine Hendrix could also emerge as an early dark horse candidate.

Will Dancing with the Stars have hip-hop for Season 34?

Before the cast was announced, DWTS hosts Alfonso Ribiero and Julianne Hough teased that a new style may be coming to the ballroom for Season 34. Notably, their “hype” video was underscored by Felly and Technotronic’s “Pump Up the Jam.” And this trailer gets kicked off by the stars pressing play on a giant boom box to launch into “Rhythm Is a Dancer” by Snap! Considering how much the nostalgic radio is affiliated with hip-hop, chances are good that this will be the new style introduced to DWTS in 2025.

How can I watch Dancing with the Stars?

Dancing with the Stars premieres Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. Episodes are available to stream next day on Hulu.
