Twenty years after becoming a band, the Jonas Brothers are on a nationwide tour, stopping at Fenway Park in Boston on Saturday, Aug. 23.
Named the “Greetings From Your Hometown” tour after the family band’s seventh studio album, the 20th-anniversary celebration tour has been packed full of special performances and surprise guests, and Boston was no different. From family performances to surprise guests from Massachusetts singers to Kevin Jonas’ very first live solo, the Jonas Brothers’ Fenway show was full of exciting twists.
Here’s a list of all the surprise guests the Jonas Brothers brought out on stage at Fenway Park.

Glen Powell
Actor Glen Powell, who has been busy filming a new movie in Rhode Island, traveled up to Boston to introduce the Jonas Brothers on stage.
“Tonight, this is your hometown,” Powell said to introduce the Boston show of the “Greetings From Your Hometown” tour. “And this is your family” he added as the Jonas Brothers took the stage, each sharing a hug with the actor.
Jesse McCartney
Jesse McCartney, who the Jonas Brothers opened for back in 2005, came out on stage for the second time this tour in Boston.
“We just thought, you know what, we gotta let Boston get the extra special experience tonight. Please welcome to the stage, our friend, your friend, Jesse McCartney,” Nick Jonas introduced as the singer came on stage.
McCartney performed two of his biggest hits, “Beautiful Soul” and “Leavin'” alongside the brother band.
Jojo
As their tour is themed around hometowns, the Jonas Brothers fittingly brought out Massachsuetts’ own Joanna “JoJo” Levesque for the Boston show.
Born and raised in Foxboro, Jojo joined the band in a custom Red Sox jersey to sing her hit “Leave (Get Out),” staying to join the Jonas Brothers on their song “Vacation Eyes.”
Chris Carrabba
At the beginning of the show, the Jonas Brothers brought out someone who Joe said taught them how to sing – Dashboard Confessional’s lead singer, Chris Carrabba.
After performing his 2004 hit “Vindicated,” Carrabba joined the Jonas Brothers in singing their own 2007 song “Take a Breath,” which was directly inspired by Dashboard Confessional music.
Green Monster
While Wally the Green Monster typically comes out at Fenway Park for baseball games, the Red Sox mascot took to the Fenway stage this weekend, dancing alongside Joe Jonas as he sang the DNCE hit “Cake by the Ocean.”
