While she didn’t take home any awards, Kelsea Ballerini had a big night at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville Nov. 19.
The Knoxville-native country singer stunned on the CMA red carpet before delivering an emotional performance of her new song, “I Sit In Parks,” a song about missing life benchmarks.
The ballad is one of six songs on Ballerini’s newest EP, “Mount Pleasant,” released on Nov. 14. “I Sit in Parks” is the first track on the EP. It’s a short but impactful, introspective tune.

On the red carpet, Ballerini rocked a sheer red dress and a matching pair of heels. The Knoxville star was highlighted on People’s “best dressed” list.
The stunning strapless number is from the Christian Siriano Fall 2025 collection, according to People Magazine and Fashion Sizzle. The tulle dress was truly a standout moment for the CMA nominee.
Paired with the dress, Ballerini wore a sparkling red pump and matching red lipstick.
