Selena Gomez Does Power Dressing in Ronny Kobo for ‘Jennifer Hudson’

Selena Gomez channeled contemporary power dressing with a seasonal spin in her Ronny Kobo jumpsuit during her “The Jennifer Hudson Show” appearance on Tuesday in Burbank, Calif.

The Rare Beauty founder wore the Michelle jumpsuit in burgundy from Kobo’s eponymous brand, featuring a contemporary construction with an autumnal colorway. The deep burgundy tailored one-piece featured structured shoulders, a defined waist and wide-leg trousers to augment the commanding silhouette.

Working in collaboration with stylist Erin Walsh, Gomez’s look took a monochrome direction with her burgundy pointed-toe heels, complementing her jumpsuit. Keeping the one-piece the focal point of her look, Gomez opted for small, delicate pieces of jewelry and a belted waist with gold buckle hardware.

Makeup artist Hung Vanngo and hairstylist Renato Campora have worked with Gomez before. The actress and singer’s hair was styled straight with a middle part, and her makeup included a smokey eye and glossy lip. Gomez has also collaborated with nail artist Tom Bachik, as well.

During her time on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” with her “Wizards of Waverly Place” costars, Gomez chatted about her Rare Beauty brand. Along with releasing its own line of beauty, hair and fragrance products, Gomez’s cosmetics company has gone a step further in its business, acquiring new names under the Rare Beauty Brands umbrella.

Gomez’s business acumen with Rare Beauty Brands translated to her “Jennifer Hudson Show” look on Tuesday. Ronny Kobo’s jumpsuit design spoke to the eponymous label’s dedication to pieces inspired by confident, contemporary women. Kobo originally launched the apparel brand Torn by Ronny Kobo in 2009, with a relaunch in 2017 to the now-eponymous label’s name.
