Selena Gomez just commemorated the release of her new song with a swanky dinner date.
No, not with newlywed Benny Blanco — instead, the Grammy nominee, 33, was spotted out with her mother, Mandy Teefey, on Thursday, Oct. 23.
The pair were seen leaving the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif., Just Jared reports.

Giorgio Baldi has been a hotspot for celebrities for years, Just Jared noted, with Rihanna known to be a frequent patron.
And Gomez’s brand-new song mentioned above is titled “In the Dark” — and it’s featured in the second season of Netflix’s beloved rom-com series Nobody Wants This.
Added to that, the billionaire pop star dropped a music video for her new track. She had fans buzzing about the possibility of a new video after she shared a cryptic post on her Instagram story last week.
The post featured the 33-year-old exuding femme fatale vibes in a black leather top. As for her glam, she completed the look with bold makeup, swapping her typical soft glam for something edgier with smoky eyes and a dark-colored lip.
But beyond her head-turning look, what really caught fans’ attention was the caption that read, “Another music video, another song,” hinting at new music on the horizon.
Does it live up to the hype? Check out the “In the Dark” music video below.
Gomez married hitmaker Blanco, 37, last month in a private tented ceremony at Sea Crest Nursery in Santa Barbara, California. The star-studded event featured guests such as:
Plus, co-stars from Only Murders in the Building were there, such as scene-stealer Michael Cyril Creighton. Earlier this week, he reflected on the wedding during an interview with Fox 5 New York.
“It was wonderful, it was beautiful, they’re a lovely couple. I was so honored to be there for it. It was pretty special,” Creighton, 46, said. “She’s a great person and she deserves all of it.”
