Selena Gomez and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, have arrived at the 77th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. The 33-year-old actress and singer wowed in a fiery red Louis Vuitton gown with a long train and unique neckline, while Blanco kept it classic in a sleek suit, letting his fiancée steal the spotlight.
Gomez is at the Emmys to celebrate her hit Hulu series, Only Murders in the Building, which is up for multiple awards this year, including Outstanding Comedy Series. As both a star and executive producer on the show, the actress has been a driving force behind its commercial success. Her co-star, Martin Short, is also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Oliver.
Only Murders in the Building follows three neighbors: Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Short), and Mabel (Gomez), who bond over a true-crime podcast, then start their own when a fellow resident is murdered in their New York apartment building, the Arconia. Each season presents a new mystery with a new victim, often connected to the residents or the building’s history, which the trio investigates alongside celebrity guest stars and their podcast.
The couple began dating in early 2023, quickly drawing attention for their public displays of affection and shared love for music. Gomez announced her engagement to Blanco in December 2024, and the two released a joint album titled I Said I Loved You First earlier this year.
In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon alongside her Only Murders in the Building castmates, Gomez admitted to Fallon and the audience that she was “so excited” and that wedding planning “was going well.” The couple will reportedly get married in Montecito, California, by the end of this month.
The first three episodes of Only Murders in the Building’s fifth season were released on Tuesday on Hulu. New episodes will be released every Tuesday until the Season 5 finale on Oct. 28.
The 2025 Emmy Awards take place Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can catch all the action live on CBS or stream it on Paramount+.
